EcoDrains Ltd. performs water main pipe chlorination and disinfection, working for a variety of clients which include local authorities, utility companies, consulting engineers & building contractors. Chlorination and disinfection is carried out to meet the requirements as set out by the Irish Water Code of Practice for Water Infrastructure Connections and Developer Services.

Water chlorination is required in situations where a new water main has been installed or where a water supply piping system has become damaged or broken. Our chlorination procedures meet all regulatory standards and are deemed as acceptable by the governing body, Irish Water. We will also issue you with a validated certificate of analysis as well as a report on the procedure which you can submit to the local authority.

Our experienced technicians will visit you on-site to conduct the water testing service. All members of our team are highly skilled, have undergone extensive training and possess all relevant qualifications.

Once we have carried out the chlorination service, we will then test the water to ensure it is suitable. Once all tests have been complete and the water is of a satisfactory level, the piping system can then be commissioned for use.
